03 XSPF Button Player Get it here.
Two versions. Music is or is not downloadable—depending on version. Autostart is set to off. I couldn’t get either version to play songs to completion.

04 Secure Player Get it here.
Music is not downloadable. Autostart is set to on. This player is not free. A variety of skins can also be purchased for this player. However, if none of the skins meet your needs, you have to settle for what is available. The graphic “meters” available on many of the skins just move in a pattern and do not represent the music. They are therefore a waste of space.
Note: all other players on this page are “free.” Secure Player was purchased by Golden Mark, LLC for this comparison.

05 WebSite Music Player Get it here.
Music does not appear to be downloadable—requires php. Easiest to maintain once set up. It makes its own playlist by reading the target directory. Does not seem to have an autostart feature. For any significant customization (such as color, etc.) you must sign up for an account at $20.00(US)/month. Allows for music sales directly from the player.
